During the 40 days of lent the New Horizons' congregation will Journey with Jesus to the Cross by study the Gospel according to Mark.

The Gospel of Mark  tells of the Ministry of Jesus from His Baptism by John the Baptist to his death, the burial of his body, and the discovery of His empty tomb. It emphasizes the importance of the Cross, ,Christian discipleship, the teachings of Jesus, and the importance of Jesus being not only man but also the Son of God.

The gospel of Mark is simple, straight forward and easy to understand. While some say it is simple  to read and understand, it is  also very powerful and provides the reader a deeper  understanding of the  personal sacrifice that Jesus made for our sins.

On Wednesdays' during Lent Pastor Ivan will be conducting  an on-line  discussion of the Readings at 9:30 am and 6:00 pm.   All are invited to attend
